I am a music lover. I used to go to disco-rama in the village many, many years ago. New York City used to have many record stores. It's good to see that Academy is still thriving, they have various genres of music and plenty of vinyl.
A widely complete store, filled up with records. I liked the fact that it had tons of CD's (not a good idea taking vinyls on an airplane). The staff were really friendly, and the prices were amazing. Found a couple of CDs for 2 bucks, and some rarities as well!
This place is crammed and I mean crammed with all genres of music, CDs and vinyl, also a smaller range of DVDs. I guess it depends what your taste is and what your looking for but even if they don’t have the item your wanting you can spend ages in there just listening to the tunes and browsing through the never ending…
Not a hugr collection of mainstream, but prices are reasonable, there are some nice things you can find interestingthings, records in good condition and great service. Many DVDs. Very organised
